you will need another PSU. most 580 need a 12v rail rated at 42 amps... that psu only has a max of 38amps on the 12v rail. you will fry either one in time. The gpu will not get the needed juice.

this is what I would get

For a single 580, your fne. ULTRA are not the best PSU out there but your still good.

You can easily search for this on OCN:
http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/867811-psu-requirements-gtx-580-a.html

That's not a very good PSU, and definitely not at that price.

I would suggest you get one of these instead, all of which will can easily handle a GTX580 and i7 overclocked. All reliable and well reviewed units.

It will be fine. You might not be stable at a certain OC as compared to using a good quality 550w unit.

You don't need a 750w power supply so stop suggesting them guys. A good 550w is all you need for a GTX 580.

Haha.. I'm getting mixed messages.. This Psu handled my 6870HD Sapphire.. If that helps. Also, I'm not much of an overclocker.. Which is Ironic because I'm on Overclock.net But whatev.

I was hoping not to spend even more money upgrading this beast.

Well that psu will last you until you upgrade it since you won't be overclocking your GTX 580.
