XIGMATEK CLF-F1452 140mm Red LED Case Fans for $2.99

Thread Starter
I was just browsing around on the Egg for Red LED fans and came across this deal:

XIGMATEK CLF-F1452 140mm Red LED Case Fan

I'm not sure if these are any good, but the price seems exceptional for any fan.

Just thought I'd let everyone know!

EDIT: Looked a little further, and it appears a lot of the XIGMATEK 140mm Fans have that same deal. Some with even more involved such as 30% off w/ promo code XIGMAFATOFF. Also to be noted, they are only 2.99 after the MIR which can only be applied to ONE FAN frown.gif. So you'd only be able to get one of the fans with that MIR deal. I'm willing to bet the 30% applies to all of them though. Here are the others:

Blue LED

Orange Looking one

White LED

Another Blue LED

Green LED

Another White LED

Purple LED but at $3.99

Not very good fans judging from this review:

If we disregard the noise, then Xigmatek Crystal 140 does indeed boast very good airflow, falling just a little behind other testing participants. However, when this fan is working you hear constant roaring generated by the flat blades. Moreover, the fan roars at high speeds as well as low speeds that is why roaring aside we can only call it “quiet” at 610 RPM (the worst results) and acoustically comfortable at 770 RPM (also the lowest result). I have to admit that the fan really does create good pressure according to the difference in airflow under heavy load and under none as well as our subjective impressions. But, unfortunately, this roaring ruins it all.

But for $2.99 each, they're still a good deal.

Ouch. That is pretty bad. I guess if you don't mind noise then these work well hahaha.

I can vouch for the retardedly loud roar from the fans, I have them and I trashed them lol.

I have the blue one, it doesn't have Blu LEDs, just a blue blade and white LEDs.

Is this the kind of noise you were getting? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDeINlrCSTc&feature=related"]It will be the middle fan they review.[/ame]

Edit: I like the last fan in the review. Anyone know if they make it with Red LEDs?

Lol the Thermalright's X silent 20 db is quieter than xigmatek's 16 db. fail.
I ordered one before for same deal, doesn't make more noise than you would expect actually pretty quiet... maybe i got lucky.

Xigmatek rebate you'll probably have to follow up on to receive.

You should add in, after mail in rebate. If they were 3 bucks flat, might've been worth getting : /
