Amazon was/is having a good deal on the CRUCIAL M4 256 GB SSD too @ $199 w/ Free Shipping thumb.gif ... I don't need it, and I was even tempted to buy another one at that price. Paid that almost I think for my 128 GB M4.   http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004W2JL2A/ref=ox_ya_os_product

I went back to older version of trixx and it let me adjust the voltage again using ATI 12.8 driver biggrin.gif

trixx version "SAPPHIRE_TriXX_Installer_v4.0_634459803839748647.2"

also install some overclocking fix from awhile back , not sure it that help as well .

"AMD_Catalyst_MSIAB_patch"

Watch out with that voltage bro. I believe I have experienced noticeable degradation with running my card at only 1.21 volts for almost a year. Temps almost never broke 60C.

BTW ... I looked back through some old posts to find the pics ... I (and assume most of us) originally used TriXX version # 4.0.2

Should be noted ... when I just DOWNGRADED TriXX to an earlier version ... my BSOD issue so far hasn't come back ... odd that TriXX would do this ? I didn't even have the card OC'd on the new TriXX version really just 880 / 1350 / 1536 ... also at the time I didn't KNOW we were using # 4.0.2 so I'm running version # 3.0.6 right now ... and while it Doesn't SHOW a radio box to select saving the FAN PROFILE with your OC profile on start of windows ... IT DOES DO IT , unlike # 4.0.2 seemed to not rolleyes.gif

**** ME ... nevermind ... the BSOD is back ... Stop Error 0x0...0124 - 'hardware error' ... so I guess either my GPU is going bad, my MoBo is OC'd too far, and/or getting too hot, or it's the RAM right ? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr weirdsmiley.gif

DOH ! doh.gif I'm an idiot redface.gif thanks nvidiaftw12 ... but I was still getting the BSOD sozo.gif

though I think it was because I was trying to get that stupid Lucid VIRTU to work again ?

it's just a failed technology that doesn't work as advertized, or at least I can't figure it out anyways. tongue.gif

EDIT:  Hey can any of you guys post a screen shot of your CUSTOM FAN PROFILES ? ... I can't remember how I had mine prior to my latest Upgrades/re-installs and I seem to be running hotter and yet louder than I recall before ? So trying to figure out my optimal curve, but don't remember where I pinned the change points before.
