I don't get why you guys are all bashing on the 360. It's 6 year old hardware, and for a 6 year old console optimized the hell out of it, it looks pretty damn good with a texture pack. Microsoft required all games to be played from the disc, so there it is. It look awesome with the texture pack too smile.gif

I don't have a 360, but my jelly brother has a PS3. I'm pretty sure it'll look decent on the PS3.

At least they are making it an option rather than just giving up and having a 1 size fits all with those blurry textures. DICE deserves some credit here. There are some devs that would just take the easy road. It's too bad more 360 games don't have enhancements besides better load times when you install them. Even though I wouldn't even consider getting this for anything other than PC, I'm happy that console players will get the BF3 experience(even if it's watered down).

Why would you laugh? Battlefield 3 looks bloody amazing on Xbox 360 considering what hardware it's actually running on. I'd call that an achievement.

Repped for the truth, good sir.

Not everyone has the money/time/inclination to build a rig with $400+ of graphical horsepower.

Getting BF3 to the masses is a good thing.

With a capture card, they usually come with their own software for recording.

If he can spend $60 on a game, he can find $20 for a harddrive... doh.gif
