I've got a great case, plenty of air flow. Its more of the cheap ass cooler that the xfx 6950 has and how loud the fans are.
So, its time to upgrade again. I'm really liking the 2500K. It also looks like the asrock extreme 7 gen3 will fit 2 6950's crossfire (16 x 16 ) WOW, with room for the Accelero XTREME Plus II coolers. Bumping up to 32 gb of faster ram. I see eyefinity coming. (Come on Santa) I'd like to get a modular psu, any suggestions......
All one post please. No triple posting. And I could only find one P67 board with PCIe 3.0 support since I want this board to be future proof.

I would definitely pick this over ASrock and I would also RECOMMEND the Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4.
Hands down ASRock over MSI! ASRock easily kicks MSI's new Gen 3 boards in the ground regardless of those articles. And on most threads most would agree. I was very skeptical of ASRock until a few weeks ago. Now I'm a believer and truly love my E4 G3 mobo.

If I was you, you might want to stay with Asus or ASRock at this point.

Asus and Asrock are currently my top choices.

Edit: Top boards are...

P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen 3
P8Z68-V Pro/Gen 3
Extreme 4 Gen 3
Extreme 7 Gen 3
Z68A-GD65

Most of the boards were ruled out since they didn't have four SATA III (6GB/s) ports. The P8Z68-V Pro is the only one without a PS2 port but I kept it it since it isn't worth kicking out since it has now PS2 port. I'll just have to deal with the 6 key limit but shortening my keyboard shortcuts.

Don't all of the other boards have a higher power phase than the MSi I listed above?

Yes they do.
I would get the Asrock E4 G3. Great board for the price and you can't go wrong.

The Z68 series does have the same bug as the P67 series where it sometimes gets stuck on the Starting Windows screen... it is fixed by putting Internal PLL Overvoltage on Auto. There are lots more bugs like these on SB though...
