well from what I read the games will be on a cartridge format so its possible that if a game needs more memory space it may be possible to be implemented into the media itself.

Because taking a trip is all about gaming? (oh... sitting in the backseat on a trip?)

Do these things actually have appeal to anyone on these forums? I mean, I understand u might want to buy them for your kids, to hush them up (or, whatever). But how can anything like this, offer any entertainment or be fun... knowing, you could just playing a superior game on a computer instead.

As for killing time(?), that is why there are apps for you phone. So special people can be engrossed in their handheld even moAr. Great gift for kids who don't have Xbox, or a computer though.

That sucks.

3-5 hours. Still more than the 3DS on 3D mode for comparison, and same as the original PSP.

if i was more in to portable gaming, i would be all over this. i saw the preview of the vita from the e3 conference and was blown away by what all one of these can do. maybe if they ever drop the price down from $250, i'll get one.
