accessing a network drive

Thread Starter
I'm looking to start a little media "server" as it were. I essentially have all my music and videos on my PC and PS3 and (music at least) on my iPod Touch. Well, I have a spare 500GB external hard drive I never use anymore, and I'm thinking about having an always on network drive with all my movies, music, etc among other things.

Anyway, it wont be hard for me to do this on my computer, maybe a little harder for my PS3, but I have no clue at all what to do for my iPod. I want to be able to at least access these files, be able to play music without interruption (aka, play from a play list on the drive it self rather then select each song one at a time), play my videos (understandably, I may have to convert the files, and that's a long project for another day), save pictures to, maybe documents, etc.

Anyway, what App can I use for this? I don't mind paying if I HAVE to.

FileBrowser is the best I've used. It's like using Windows Explorer on your iPod/iPhone/iPad.
