Hi,
I was just wondering if a set of gskill 1600 9-9-9-24 will work on my motherboard cause I read somewhere on some forum, blah blah blah, that some one used 1600, and was surprised it worked. Biostar 780 L3G. Thanks in advance.

If you look at the specs it only talks about 1333. Why not try it at worst it wont post or run at a lower speed.

It will work fine but might only run at 1333. If that's the case tighten up the timings to like 7-8-7 or 7-7-7 if it will.

Alright, will try. Will my oc be affected in any way, All I did was raise the cpu multi, and ht ref. clock, and increased the voltage a tiny bit on both. 2500 to 3570 on all but the 3rd core. Its been giving me trouble.
