Help With GTS 450 Flashing Please.

Thread Starter
A few days ago i made a thread asking about voltage questions and stability with my GTS 450 to get it to 1Ghz core.

Some one sent me a link to Flash your bios but im having lots of trouble doing this, it sais so much about floppy disks and using a bunch of programs that were hard to understand.

If anyone knows how or has flashed there video cards bios could they please help me.

Also if you know what teamviwer is or skype or anything that would help us talk me through flashing my card that would be nice.

Thanks.

You can use a newer version of NVFlash to flash your card right in windows. Here is the latest version I believe, 5.100.0.1. I just extracted the .zip file to the root of C:\ to make it easier to browse to from cmd prompt.

That's what I've been doing recently, before that I used a USB drive to boot off of, and ran nvflash that way. Either way should work, I just found doing it in windows to be easier.

once you have cmd prompt open, cd to dir. IE, cd c:\nflash

Then I usually run "nvflash -4 -5 -6 nameofbios.rom"

you will have to enter YES, and y a couple times, then reboot windows.
