Few questions on upgrading

Well first off its for my sig rigg.

Now onto the questions. Will a GTX570 be bottle necked by my CPU?? I did see really high usage in the BF3 BETA since its only a dual core but I do have a decent OC ( i think so anyways )

Is it really worth the upgrade from my GTX460 to a GTX 570?? I dont know im stuck between the MSI TFIII and the ASUS DCUII...(leaning more towards the asus cause they make a waterblock for it )

My GTX460 is kinda starting to die a bit...wont hold the OC it used to and im just preparing for the death of it...so its not an upgrade JUST for BF3 but it would be nice to run it on high and not medium on my 1920X1080 monitor.

Any help is appreciated guys I just want to be sure that I dont end up bottle necking anything and spending over $300 to get the same performance I do now

I don't think your CPU @ 4.4ghz would bottleneck a single GTX 570.

You may want to go with a hd6970 for the about the same price, it trades blows pretty evenly with the GTX 570, but has 2GB vram. I think MSI, and maybe somebody else has also come out with a 2GB version of the gtx 560ti, which should be a little less $ than a GTX 570.

If you're used to a heavily OC'd gtx 460, I'm not sure if you'll notice much difference from a gtx 570 stock, certainly not $300, but if you heavily OC the gtx 570, you should start to notice some difference.

im a green team fanboy and i dont thing i will need 2GB of VRAm for a single 1080 monitor. See the problem is that my GTX460 has to have 100%fan to take the OC that I give it and it DOES hit 98-99* C in crysis and i get a SMIGE over18,000 GPU score in vantage with that OC but its LOUD.

EDIT: here is a screen shot of my vantage score on a 4.0Ghz OC

A 570 would be good. I don't think you will be bottlenecked with it.

You are perfectly fine where you are at with your CPU. No need to overclock it more. Most the time you will find that any thing over 4.2ghz does nothing for your games on quad core CPU's. 460 to a 470 would be a HUGE upgrade. I know 1 460 cannot match both my 260's but 1 570 can out match 260's sli. I am sure 2 460's will max out a 570. Have you thought about SLI?

I have a MITX board i only have 1 x16 PCI2.0 slot

And I am running a dual core i5 so 2C/4T HT on 4.6Ghz on 1.37V But my mobo is my limiting factor right now.

If i buy a new mobo might as well go sandybridge which I will just need a new GPU mine is starting to artifact at stock clocks in BF3!!!
