Assistance Please! Asus Formula V 990FX

Thread Starter
The Motherboard in the link is the one im using now, so i assume i hooked it up right....but just to be safe i wanna know if i did this right. I hooked up the 24 Pin ATX power connector to the mobo from my power supply, then i hooked a 4 Pin into the 8 pin power connector (Red Highlight 1) because it has a cap on the other side and manual said it was ok to hook it up like that, but then i did not hook up anything into the 4 pin power connector (Red Highlight 2)....I was just wondering if i need any power going to the 4 or 8 pin power connectors? both? one? thanks for the help

Open the cap and (make sure) you put your psu's 8 pin cpu power. You don't have to use the extra 4 pin cpu power on CH V
