Turn all c states off. Keep hyper threading on. I would suggest to keep the case where everything can ventilate well. Try keeping under roughly 85c on the core. After that not too many i7's can keep stable.

One of these days you might be able to do this :

I'm convinced the OP's problem is the CPU wasn't seated properly.

@OP: What TIM are you using? The stock stuff or nicer AS5 or MX-4 or whatever the cool kids are using these days. Can you try to reseat your cooler? On 100% load (BOINC) I get an average of 60C on each core and an average of 51C (reported using AIDA64).

Sitting at 3.4 Ghz/1.04V, on a Katana 3 and MX-4.

[Sorry for being away from thread, I was busy for some work.]

As said by many people I changed the memory multiplier to 5 [earlier 4].
Now its running @ 1660Mhz

And I tried lowering the VCore again and again and my Pc is running [No under-voltage shutdown] and Realtemp showing good tempo with prime95
Shall I still try for lowering the Vcore ?

Temp with prime95

Something good from earlier or again I messed up everything ?

I tried to go low than this but got BSOD
So reverted it.

I'm getting just maximum 68Temp in Real temp with Prime95 in small ffts and Large ffts both.

Not touching 70 till I switch Off all Case Fans.

Is that Okay ?
I'm going good ?

you're doing good man. imo i think up to 85c is safe for load temps on prime95 especially for large ffts. you have ez 15 c headroom to overclock even further if u want.
turn c1e and speedstep off if u need stability but this will cause the cpu to use alot more power all the time.
what you need to do now is turn off automatic restarts on BSOD and check ur codes http://www.overclock.net/general-pro...must-have.html as u get them.
that way you will know your plan of action to achieve stability with your current settings. only issue i forsee maybe is when i had my ram at 1675 mhz (2:10 fsb/dram ratio) when i was running 4.0 ghz i would get unstable ram/imc bsod cades which caused me to have to manualy increase qpi voltage. GOOD LUCK!
