You can buy DDR3-1600 kits for way less.

This is a way better PSU for price (if I remember correctly there is a promo code that brings it down to $70 shipped but I can't remember it...)

At $65 shipped, the value of that case is extremely poor. This would be better for less money, on every single detail.
That case is awful looking. It looks like someone spray painted a bunch of spare metal.

I have the Centurion 5 case already and I love it. I don't understand how it's of poor quality. Have you owned one?

As far as the PSU goes. I have the OCZ already and it's excellent. Super quiet, looks and feels excellent and the packaging was great.

I'd agree with you on the RAM though but that will have to wait. I will stick with the 8GB of 1333 until I can grab some 1600.

Also, that case you posted has a bottom mounted PSU. I prefer top mounted (hot air rises). If anything, I would get a newer Centurion model or any other case from COOLER MASTER, for that matter. I love the perforated front, metal bezel. It could use better wire management though.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but a case with poor air flow is always going to be a problem. Look for something more modern and gaming oriented (ie with lots of ventilation).
That fan is going to be so horribly loud that you will probably want to slow it down so either add a Zalman fan controller or make sure the Biostar can control fan speed or add a 7w inline resistor.

I may grab a newer COOLER MASTER chassis. I really am impressed with COOLER MASTER. I just don't understand how people could consider this case for bad airflow. It has a front intake fan, the Scythe exhaust fan I have moves a ton of air and isn't even really THAT loud at 100%. I can also add another 80mm fan to where that ****ty CPU funnel was.

Don't get me wrong, I 100% agree that there are better cases. I just don't think this one is as bad as people are making it out to be.

Sorry if I don't feel like reading through 5 pages to see what other have suggested, but this is what I would use for a budget system:

Cooler Master HAF 912 - Great case with good airflow for about $60
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119233

MSI Motherboard - MSI is a very good vendor.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130275

G.Skill 8gb kit
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231417

Corsair PSU - I would always pick a corsair PSU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139028

Everything else I think would be fine to keep the same.

No aftermarket cooler? Probably limited overclocking
5 out of 10 (due to lack of mobo potential)

Negatives
GPU - Not enough muscle for single gpu systems on more demanding games
mobo - can't sli or x-fire (x16,x4 will not be a great combo even if it does sli)
Case - not the style, but the limited breathing unless you plan on carving lots of holes in it.

I agree on the case but I really don't see the reason for a bottom mounted PSU as hot air rises.

I like BIOSTAR.

I am getting 8GB of 1333 RAM for the time being and eventually going to 1600.

And my OCZ is pretty sexy.

Hot air rises... most psu fans are intake, and you don't want to be burning you psu internals.

From what I've read the GTX 560 is an excellent performer. I've yet to see any reviews bashing it.

The motherboard is fine for now, I planned on using the x4 slot for a sound card.

I do agree that there are better cases though I just really think bottom mounted PSUs are retarded.

I don't want to seem narrow minded but I am. You should have looked at the NZXT 210 Elite. Its pretty basic and has USB 3.0. Looks better too.

I don't think my build would generate enough heat to do that. I'd rather have the PSU sucking out the hot air than being stubborn and only thinking about itself. I just prefer top mounted. xD
