I hope my OC is a stable one this time

Thread Starter
I did a little more tweaking for my GTX 580 Lightning today and these are the results:

Settings: MSI Afterburner
- 1150mV
- 920 / 1840 / 2200

Temperatures are running at a stable : 38C on idle and 68C on full load

I did a total of 3 benchmark runs on heaven while observing the run-through for each, and I find no artifacting as compared to my previous tweaks. This is about as close as I can get past 900MHz.

I was just wondering though, is my GPU temperature and core voltage within the safe limits? I usually do about 6-12 hours of gaming per session and I really hope my GPU can last for at least 2-3 years.

Any inputs on the OC settings are also appreciated! Thanks!

Oh and just to add on:

My fans were both running on auto settings, and the max % speed they have hit so far was about 67% throughout my entire testing phase.

Your temps look good and 1.15 is the max safest voltage per nvidia (for reference cards anyways.) Looking at your temps, you still have a little bit of room left.

Just got my cards watercool yesterday amazing, 47c load 1.150v running at 950mhz have not push more and don't think i'll. GTX 580 love watercooling. Before i could only manage 850mhz with 1.100v , couldn't push any higher cause my temp were hitting 90C. Both of my cards are launch reference evgas.
