Will a z-5500 control pod will work on z-680 ?

Hi guys i am having z-680 home theater ...recently my control pod starts giving some problem(display flickering and sounds stop) ..i want to know that will a z-5500 control pod will work on z-680 ? As z-680 home theater are not available in market so i think i cant get any control pod ....so i want to know if z-5500 pod will work with z-680 then i will buy z-5500 control pod for it...

im pretty sure it wont work, i had the z5500 before and the pod will only work according to the z5500, call up logitech and ask them up if its possible to send you another z680 pod (logitech will give you 50% off any item if you dont have warranty on one of their items left)
