Just picked up a white 500R and was very impressed upon taking it out of the box but as I began putting my gear in it I noticed a few serious problems.
First the motherboard tray is bowed in the middle so that when you set the board in you literally have to bend the board down to screw it in and no it's not the centering stand-off I took measurements to verify the tray is warped.
Second the power supply screw holes don't even come close to lining up and I've got a new Corsair HX 650, mounting it fan down of course.
Third the case itself is not level and no it's not the feet again i took measurements and the case is 'racked'
I really like the case so I packed it up, went down to my local MC and got another one and sure enough this one has exactly the same issues adding to them the top mesh panel is crooked and doesn't snap down flush.
Now most of you probably just crank in your mobo, stab your screws in to mount your power supply and put a peice of cardboard under one foot to level the case.
I can't live with that approach so as much as I wanted to use this case it's going back today.
