But i saw many people unlocked cores with low -end core unlocking mobos and they're all ok..some have x3 (becuse of one defective core) and some have x4 but they have no voltage or temperature problems...
I also saw that uppering voltages has no effect on core unlocking. If your PSU and CPU is ok, then you can unlock cores with stock voltages

I read that temp 2 on hwmonitor might just be those vrm's, and I can vouch for it reading just about 100 c with 4 cores going. Could be NB temp but I doubt it. Just hope it's worth the risk til I can get a better board.

Temperature problems generally happens because of dried thermal paste between the cpu and the cooler...If u renew it time to time then you will have no serious problem (and don't increase the voltages too much)

Don't risk it. Get better quality board and avoid 9 series chipset as unlocking core are not quite stable.

Without risk, there's no food
I see you have plenty of money so it's easy for you to say go and buy a better one

Yea i know just joking
I'm using my pc mostly for gaming..And with full graphic settings i'm playing most games with high fps ratings with no problem..(with dual core @ 4,0 GHz now)
I wonder if it's really necessary to use a quad core

BF3 used almost 97% on my unlock x4 proc. Newer games tend to benefit from more cores. I was going to upgrade if not because of bulldozer performance. Already bought sabertooth for that.

Not to hijack the op rider but isn't tpin2 on hwmonitor either the north bridge or vrm temp? When I unlock my cores the cpu temp stays within acceptable range but my tpin2 temp gets quite high. Haven't touched anything with my finger to actually see what's hot but it isn't processor. It would surely shut down or at least error.

It is the vrms. 4 cores are way too much for this motherboard bothers running unlocked phenom iis on low end mobos are taking a big risk.
This mono has been seen failing with 95w athlon ii x4s at stock.
