I am considering buying Razer's new headset, the Razer Electra.

I have a question about the 2 cables it uses.
Does this mean the audio cable carries audio ONLY, and the mic carries input AND output audio? Or does it mean output audio only? If the former, what's the point of the audio only cable? Will it product better sound?
Another question is, will it be compatible with my PC? I'm not too sure on the audio cables, but my motherboard is an ASUS P7H55-M. It has a front red/green port and a back blue/red/green port.
Thanks.

Q: Does the Razer Electra come with a microphone? Yes. The Razer Electra comes supplied with two interchangeable 3.5mm audio cables. One has an inline microphone; the other is purely for audio only. Here is how it works: Audio Usage: Devices with 3.5mm audio jack Audio + Microphone Usage: Devices with 3.5mm audio + mic combined jack (Compatible with Apple iPhone®, HTC®, BlackBerry®) Switch between the two audio cables according to your specific needs. |
