Am I still going to run into massive storage issues with a 32gb? would a 40gb alleviate that?
I'm trying to keep cost on my boot drive low and not a ton of extra space because i don't want to be tempted to start putting a lot of **** on it.

EDIT: NVM, apparently I have a 60gb in my cart. Not sure when i made that up-decision.

LOL good news. But I used to have a 32GB boot drive in my previous rig and ran into no problems. I had a little over 8GB free. This thread helped out a lot, so if you're still worried about updates and drivers taking up too much space on your primary, I'd give it a read.

im using the srt with my board and hdd. it takes the ssd and uses it for cacheing off your main drive. i find it to be pretty awsome setup.
