Skyrim: Which Version? (Xbox/PC)

Newegg has Skyrim pre-order for $48 and I probably will pre-order. But I'm unsure which version I should get, Xbox 360 or PC? I am really unsure since they have not released PC system requirements and I just built my rig with a 6850 1gb. I want the best RPG experience but haven't played any Elder Scrolls before.

Then again I want the game to look it's best and run fluently. Will my PC look better than Xbox 360 version?

Go for the PC version. With a 6850 you will get much better visuals than the xbox and have the chance to download hi res textures in the along with all the other mods that are bound to appear.

Damm you got 2x the GPU power than me, and I play Black Ops with 115FPS, and Dirt3 50FPS FullHD and high settings (not max). Sure Skyrim will fly on your PC!

Wow. I have DiRT 3 but haven't benchmarked it at all on extreme. Just on 720p high with like 90 FPS.

You will be fine with pc, it's the only way to go. The mods as usual will be amazing, and there will be literally thousands of them.

You probably won't be able to max settings on your rig but you'll certainly be able to run the game comfortably with better textures than the console.
