OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 vs LSI 9265-8i

Thread Starter
I am trying to decide on going with either the following:

- LSI 9265-8i with multiple Sata 3 SSDs (currently can use C300s but might buy different ones)
- OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 (will probably get the 240GB version)

I know the RevoDrive 3 X2 would be my cheapest but does it hold up to the LSI 9265-8i or vice versa?

Which would you choose and why? I am basically looking for performance.

On a side note, if I get the RevoDrive, can I use it as my operating system, and raid my other 2+ ssds as storage?

Thanks in advance!

you can raid the other ssds as storage with the revo as it uses its own raid controller on the board. i have the 1st ones that came out and was quite good. got sick of the hang-ups (because of my board) and my gf brought me a force3 suprisingly no issues with this one
