you be making up words?

Resistance perhaps?

I think you should read up on basic electronics

Resistivity is a measure of how resistive something is (measured in ohms.m-1). So for instance the resistivity of copper is 2.6 x 10-8ohm.m-1.

yesterday i tried for 5ghz to no avail. then again i didnt go past 1.5 volts cuz i didn't want to fry my chip, i went to 1.48 volts but still no go. right now im sitting on 4.8ghz at 1.425 volts

Thing is, is that 5.0GHz just "running" in windows, or actually passing some stability tests?
I can run mine in windows, throwing any games or 3DMark tests at it, at 5.0@1.475v. for days, without any crashing, bsod's, etc. No issues at all. But, it won't run P95 Blend for more than a few minutes without bsod'ing at that voltage. On air, I have no intention of running it at that vcore 24/7.
I ran it at 5.0 for a few days at 1.475v., just to see if it would do it. Glad that it did, but it can't be considered stable at that speed and voltage.
Lucky are the few who can run at 5.0GHz. "stable" at a decent voltage.

those who got to 5GHZ without more then 1.47, what were your volts at stock?
is there a trend that cpus with low vcore fat stock speeds will OC higher at lower volts?

I wish, my chip would instantly freeze when starting to run Prime95 with 0x9C BSOD at anywhere up to 1.50v - didn't want to increase the voltage more than that!
