I could also be wrong, but i am only stateing what i know and have seen, But if you dont want to wait just get that great deal on the 6950, besides if you deside you want to upgrade to the 7xxx card, i highly dout you would loose much at all selling the 6950.

Can't find any reviews though, also, isn't vid-ram becoming a major issue for newer titles? If I do buy a 6950, I'm going to be using if for a while.

That's the 6950 I bought a few weeks ago (my review is on page 2 on Newegg).

It's a great card, runs cool, and very quiet. It's a big card though, as it uses the 6970 PCB.

It's pretty limited in terms of overclocking. The BIOS is locked to 900/1325, so unless you want to mess with that to get around it...

Also, Toms (I know... I know...) did a 6950 round up, and the Gigabyte was a recommended card.

Someone is trying to sell me a 6970 2gb XFX with transferable warranty for 280. I guess I should take that, right? I heard that card gets ridiculously hot though. True?

yes it does, my friend bought one and he regrets it cause they switched to much cheaper parts and components, i suggest getting getting a brand new 6950 with that money, from Sapphire 2GB version

So.....I should just get a Sapphire 6950 2gb Dirt 3 edition for $254 with shipping, plus a $20 rebate instead? It also comes with a Deus Ex coupon (which I'll have to sell, since I own it).
