Absurd Vcore for stable 4.6 GHZ - Page 3

Your chip might just be bad at overclocking. I think I got lucky because at 4.5 I run 1.27 10hr stable p95 blend. Assuming you have all your other settings correct, you may just have to accept that you just wont be able to have the low vcore you want. If you reach the OC you want within a reasonable vcore/temps you want, you shouldn't worry about it.

Meh, crumbled after 8 hours of prime @ 1.39v ;/ now back at 1.41v- oh the injustice! Yeah, it might just be horrid at overclocking and I accept the fact that some chips will never break 4.5/6, but at the same time, to require that much vcore? BAH.
How dare you! ;'(

Slight (emphasis on slight) improvement regarding the vcore, but due to CPU PPL overvolting under load to 1.416v @ 4.6 Ghz, but I've managed to boot a stable 1.35/6v @ 4.6 idle with LLC level 9 (Seems the UD4 boards can't go without some high levels for stability) my main concern is the fact that I have to pump so much in. I'm going to run this for a while, see what happens- play a few games + check.
No way is this chip doing more than 4.6 ghz though.

EDIT: Load temps are always under 70 deg; across the board it's more like this:
63-65-66-68 (average) at the moment it's running 62-64-64-64

Ya, yer temps are fine for sure.

Not sure how similar the UD4 bios is to my UD3, but here's a post where I put a bunch of tweaks up - might be something in there you can use. Pics of the bios are above my post.
