Watercooling - Where to start? - Page 2

That looks good. You don't really need the fluid and biocide. Just get some distilled water and then use a silver kill coil. Also you need fans for the rad smile.gif

OP check out those links as well. You got lucky tongue.gif

Awesome, so its really not that hard. Yeh i am getting GT's 1450 RPM ones, not really sure how well will they work with the EX rad, need to wait for the reviews on that one since its releasing soonish.

I am planing on getting http://www.ldcooling.com/shop/atx-hptx/47-ld-pc-v8-atx-hptx-black.html too, so m gunna have to look at the fan setup and weather i should house the rad on top or in the bottom compartment.

Ill play around with it for a while tongue.gif

For newbies, I say get a RASA kit.

After you have the kit, you can see what you want change, add, upgrade, ect.

Not only that, you can learn your way around a loop.

Yes i see your point, i am still undecided hence why i am waiting for XSPC to include raystorm cpu block and new EX rads into their kits. Grab a kit for CPU cooling and do a custom loop for graphics little bit later....

Read up (a lot), plan thoroughly and execute.
Do it correctly and it will not leak. Watercooling is fun and quiet computers rock, but it is not for the haphazard individual.

Yes i am scared of leaks, just as any other newb i guess. But ill make sure i do everything carefully and step by step.

But i was thinking, could i mount cpu block, rad and res inside the case just for the sole purpose of cutting and connecting the tubbing, and then when it comes to testing for leaks could i just not take the loop out?
