New problem - Computer crashed

Gosh I'm just having the worst new computer experience of my life. I seem to have all the problems happening to me and now I'm worried I'm not going to be able to play BF3 on Tuesday.

First lets start off with some information.

CPU: i5 2500K - 4.6 GHz @ 1.45 volts
GPU: EVGA GTX 570 - 900 core, 2000 memory
PSU: Cooler Master GX 750W
Mobo: ASRock P67 Extreme4 Gen3
RAM: 8 gigs G.Skill Ripjaws 9-9-9-24

First I was getting freezing on Windows, now I just had a new problem that came out of no where.

I was playing SC2 and all of a sudden my computer completely crashes. Screen goes black, then like a green colored screen came up, then the monitor said that there was no signal. I heard the crashing sound in my headset like the sound was all messed up like BUZZZZZZZZZZ and my computer was still on. The comp didn't turn off or restart. It simply crashed the game and windows I guess. The temps were fine, 55-60*C on GPU and about 50-60*C on CPU.

I don't know whats going on lately. I've done over 20 hours total Prime95 Blend with these settings, did a 8 pass Memtest, did several chkdsk's, and I'm still confused whats going on.

I'm currently using the 285 BETA driver for BF3 because its coming out of Tuesday. I'm aware that the driver could have caused this crash, but then that doesn't explain the freezing on Windows. My GPU overclocks are almost guarenteed stable. I've ran many tests and many hours on BF3 BETA and SC2 and nothing showed to be unstable.

I'm going to be buying a Corsair 850W AX tomorrow either way because I'm going to end up SLI-ing my 570, so hopefully that will eliminate my power supply theory. After that though, I don't know what could possibly be wrong that would cause any issues besides maybe the Mobo is messed up?

Its hard for me to pinpoint exactly when and what is causing it because its so random and hard to tell why its doing it.

I'd love to just hear any solutions that anyone may have to my problems. Please don't say "Unstable overclocks" because I've heard it a million times, and I know my overclocks are stable. I feel like its hardware related.

Would that explain freezing on Windows screen or shortly after? The thing is it was freezing on my overclocked settings but not on stock CPU settings. Then a few days later I ran another 8 hours on the same settings that were freezing and seemed fine.

Did you try different Nvidia drivers though? 266 and the 275 ones are good to start with. Also, do you have a ssd?

I don't have a SSD, and I havn't tried any drivers because how am I supposed to play BF3 without using that driver? I like NEED to use that driver.

Well ,i know the beta said I couldn't play without the new driver too, but I still did on my 275 drivers.

And you say it randomly freezes?

Do the issues happen when not overclocked?

One day I literally couldnt get past 30 seconds past the Windows welcome screen at 4.6 GHZ and 1.45 volts. I set it to stock for a couple days worked fine, then I tried changing back to 4.6 GHz and 1.45 volts to see if it would freeze and it worked perfectly fine. I played some SC2, then did another 8 hours of Prime95 blend just to make sure.

It then worked for a day or two untill this issue happened today.

EDIT: It let you play BF3 with a older driver? How? I tried with the 280 driver.

Prime doesn't always mean you are stable though, i had the same happen to my overclock. Try using it at stock for a while and if it doesn't happen again it is your overclock. If it does happen it is a software issue.

Also, sata drivers up to date? http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...ology&lang=eng

I had freezing issues b/c of bad drivers before.

Said my computer didn't meet the minimum requirements to install this software...

Well the thing is it is so random what if I don't get a freeze for 3 days, 7 days, 2 weeks? Am I supposed to stay on stock forever? I've been running these CPU overclocks for so long now. Almost 3 weeks...

When do you get the freezing? Just in games? Is it anytime? Have you run windows updater lately?
