Yes that's right..

That P5Q can easily get that Q6600 to 3.6GHz (400MHz FSB x 9) if you can cool that CPU well enough..

3.2GHz should be a walk in the park (that's enough for BF3)..

BF3 is very GPU intensive,just like Crysis 2 so that GTX460 is your limiting factor for higher resolutions/Quality settings..

And definitely go with 4GB of RAM..

768mb gtx 460 is gonna limit the fps at 1080p too. Go for 1gb if you can.

my 460 768 ran it ok. i think on medium settings, but it seemed like i couldn't change the setting higher or lower.

Definately add another 2GB RAM. BF3 Beta was struggling my rig with 3GB. Once I got another gig, everything was just peachy.

Were you on 1080p? I know on my 1gigs , bf3 beta used around 800-875mb of vram

Get 4 gigs ram and the 470 if possible. The experience would be much better
