Cannot switch Bios to AHCI

Not sure what's happening. I'm running in IDE, but when switch Bios to AHCI keep getting the BSOD. My SDD is the primary drive that has W7. I have no Raid setup. Any advise would be appreciated...

Worked for me before. That is the only was to do it after windows is already installed. You're supposed to change it before installing windows but changing the registry works fine too
