Dude, if you bought the DVD, you can't just download a copy on origin. Cancel the order of the DVD, repurchase the game on origin, and then preload.

True, but this guy is wanting to download the game on origin when he ordered the physical disc. Doesn't work that way. You can't download the game now on origin if you buy the DVD.

Ahh I thought he meant registering it on Origin and getting patches etc that way. Of course you won't be downloading the game because you have a ...physical copy.

nope, i was asking if a can do the download when i enter my serial, so my hard copy can sit on my desk collecting dust
