I would call it safe. Maybe it was just a blank pin. Now its time to push it even further! 4ghz!

In the video I posted a few posts up, it mentions that some pins simply aren't needed. If that's what happened to you (and it seems like it might be) then there's a chance you'll be fine with it how it is.

What i care about is not frying the motherboard because i just bought it recently with my noctua dh14 and my new ripjaws ram, but i just want to know if i have the cool clear, i mean if the cpu u fries its fine i can just buy another like a x6 but i am just really concerned about my other stuff

If it booted and is running the OS, you should be fine. If it was a pin that was needed....it wouldn't have posted..much less got into the OS

I wouldn't worry, since its running the OS, I'd say its perfectly fine. If it was going to damage your motherboard, it would have already done it.

look at the diagram for the pin grid array on amd's website.. should be somewhere in the technical data sheet section... look what pin it is. If it's Vss (ground pin) it will be fine.. or if it's a pin that isn't used (black)

if it's something else post back here... depending on what it is.. may cause future problems with things such as electrical arching.. etc.
