That seems high to me for water. I don't know much about your particular kit, but I barely break 66-68 on my 2600K on my air cooler, the Mugen 2 and with a single fan at that. This is running a higher OC and voltage than yours as well. Something just seems off. I could be wrong though and that may be an OK temp for your kit.

Edit: I should add, my temps are while folding 24/7. If I use Prime, they will go up to about 72 or so.

that does seem a bit high, my temps are about the same under load @ 1.45v and 5ghz

I get the exact opposite honestly. Coretemp reads mine all wrong and usually locks up off and on. hwmonitor has always been spot on as far as I can tell. I use Throttlestop as a secondary and it always matches up with hwmon. I may have been using an older version of coretemp though, and they may have fixed it for SB chips now.

still way too high for water. Even my crappy H50 cooled CPU has better temp than yours.

real temp is the most precised one.

Dude.. Don't forget you live in Australia lol.. We have ridiculous humidity in summer, Stop worrying about your temps :S They're well within the safe region and that's all that matters TBH, With my setup I'm idling at 44c at the moment, 32c Ambient room Loading at 63c with sig rig..
