HDD not recognized?

Thread Starter
Just did a reformat (btw, everything is plugged in correctly), and I installed Win7 onto my SSD. I had the option of chosing my HDD, but I just selected the HDD and clicked delete. So I chose my SSD, and for some reason in My computer there is no HDD shown. In my BIOS, it's there... but another wierd thing is, in my BIOS - under boot priority - it says 1) remov device 2) my HDD 3) CD drive.... #1 should be my SSD, but there isn't an option to chose it. When I click Hard Disk Drives, under the boot section of my bios, it says 1) HDD - 2) SSD (it actually shows it here) and 3) remov drive. I changed 1) to SSD and 2 to HDD (swapped em), and when I restarted my computer it asked for BOOT device (like it didn't read an OS). So I wen't back to Hard Disk Drives, and put the original order (1- HDD 2- SSD 3- Removable), and it works. The only issue right now is: My HDD is not recognized on windows, I tried to run my Windows DVD and I thought I could click "format" on my HDD and then it would work. When I went there, I saw just my SSD + system info + hdd (but no system reserve info for the HDD). Any ideas?

TL;DR:

My harddrive is shown in BIOS, but it's not recognized in Windows 7 (20GB left on SSD, help!)

This is going to sound super noobie, but I might as well:

Is this the same place where I went to click the "Format" button? Where the "New" "Load Driver" buttons are?

Enable god mode

http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-...ws-7s-godmode/

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Then after you create the folder on desktop with the name in spoiler go to
"Create and format hard disk partitions"

Then your drive should show up there, right click and create a new simple volume

It didn't show up :\\
Did I mess things up by deleting the harddrive and it's Stored System Information on that windows 7 install box (where you chose where to install OS)?

Does the drive show up in Disk management? Right click "Computer" and select "Manage". In the left window pane select, "Disk management". See if the drive shows up in there.

Thanks for your response/time.
It is not showing up there, I'm sad.
EDIT
Wait.. It does show it as Disk 0 (465 GB unallocated), but it's not shown under the Volume category.

Can you right click on it and select partition? Does it show as "Not Initialized"? if is isn't initialized, can you right click and "Intitalize" it?

edit: If it is unallocated, you might be able to just right click and partiton it.

Thanks for the God Mode link. I just sent it to our IT team at work! I've recently been put in charge of running the department as a manager, and I know this will be helpful.
