reboot your pc try again , try with DIFFERENT drivers , make sure only a single screen is connected to the pc....disconnect any printers aswell
my motherboard supports 8x 8x in SLI

I will be trying the new 285.62 that they released today

Using Guru3d's review of GTX570 SLI, I just did a quick run of the Metro 2033 benchmark (v1.02). I discover that their number (54 fps) is higher than mine (52 fps). 2 fps can be margin-of-error but I think mine should be at least a few fps higher than theirs because:-

1. My i7 965 is at 4GHz (vs their i7 965 at 3.75GHz)
2. My driver is a much newer driver 280.26 WHQL (vs their 263.09 Beta)
3. My GTX570s are overclocked to 780/4000MHz (vs their stock 732/3800MHz)

Edit 1:
My settings
DX11
1920x1200
VERY HIGH
AAA
AF 16X
PHYSX OFF
DOF ON

Cool, didn't know this. I don't play it anymore, but I had it on my HDD backup where I could run it from (secondary drive). System as per sig (1080p), your settings and cards downclocked to 772/2004.

I'll give the benchmark a go tonight but I find it very playable with everything switched to max on 1920 x 1080 @60Hz on a single 580.

I just ran it using those settings with my SLI 570s at stock 732Mhz settings, and they are spot on with Guru3Ds results.

Total Frames: 3182, Total Time: 59.56985 sec
Average Framerate: 53.52
Max. Framerate: 177.68 (Frame: 2731)
Min. Framerate: 6.06 (Frame: 6)

Just for the hell of it, I ran the same benchmark with my 570s OC'd to 900core/2000 memory and got the following results.

Total Frames: 3585, Total Time: 59.76254 sec
Average Framerate: 60.09
Max. Framerate: 227.48 (Frame: 3008)
Min. Framerate: 7.53 (Frame: 6)

This leads me to believe there is something VERY suspect about Guru3D's 65fps GTX 580 run. My 570s at that overclock beat stock 580s in every other benchmark such as Heaven or 3DMark 11. There is no way in hell a stock 580 setup would beat a 900Mhz 570 by almost 10%.

My guess is your 580s are perfectly fine. You got 2 less fps than my 900Mhz 570s which seems completely in line with my other testing, as a 570 around ~855Mhz core is equal to a stock 772Mhz core 580.

That benchmark file is stored on your computer's hard drive dude. We can't access it. Copy and paste the results here.
