8150 is faster then even a 990X in multi threaded enviorments.

so get the 8150.

(but has lower IPC and sucks worse then phenom I for single threaded)

if you cant use more then 4 cores, save some cash and get a 1100T..

if u cn actually use 8 cores.. get 8150

the 8150 in highly threaded apps is the fastest desktop CPU u can get..

and that fails? k.

it floureshes as a multi threaded monster.

but fails at single threaded.. and even 4 threaded.

The first thing that popped into my mind was, get the 8120 or the 1090T. You can usually find the next highest clock chip in the same specs at a greatly discounted price. But they still OC about the same as their higher clocked brother. If you still have an 8xx series board just get the 1090T for now. If you are going 9XX on the board, then try a 8 core 8120.

then 1100T is you'tr best friend.

with gaming in mind, the 1100t being better in single threaded applications it's probably the better choice, but the 8150 could be beneficial with other things.

i mean how many games use 8 cores these days...

EDIT: for gaming id get the best amd quad core if i were you.
