Need Recommendations for New Monitor - Page 2

You could always get OPEN BOXES at NewEgg. I got myself a 24 inch ASUS monitor for 117 bucks well additional 20 for rush process. I hope it'll be a good monitor cuz open boxes aren't always 100% good but most of the time they are! First time with open box orders but it was a good deal and a steal. Beats waiting around for Black Fridays. If i don't like it i can return it and wait. Hope this monitor will be ok. I really wanna get a GTX 580 but next week i probably will, including more ram.

People probably get the vh236h over the vh238h because it was used at MLG. It should also be cheaper, but the price difference is negligible. I think all of Asus's VH models are quite good for gaming, so you can't go wrong with either.

How are the Dell U2311h's for gaming and video editing? I can get one for around the same price as the ASUS VH236H/VH238H but I'm afraid the Dell, while it should be superior for color accuracy and visual quality, could be subpar for gaming.

Which of these 3 would you guys recommend?

Are there any others in the same $200 or less price range that would be better?

Thanks for the help!
