So keep the danger den blocks? I'm not necessarily keeping the HD 6850's forever These look cool though.

Also the Raystorm looks good and will save a few dollars.

Are you trying to cool two GPUs and a CPU on one 240 rad?

That's crazy. Also, the 655 natively supports 1/2" tubing, so why the 3/8" conversion model?
I was

Not sure why the 655s come with conversion kit...

Ugh, this seems so much fail from the get-go.

If you can do some simple cutting....

You should change the radiator to a 360mm, like the XSPC RX360 with some good fans for push / pull (like Yate Loon High speeds).

The Full cover blocks are fine and dandy, but they'll ONLY be useable on those cards. They're a beautiful addition to a loop, and will be better for keeping the entire card cooler. But the universal blocks will be more "future proof" in the sense that you'll only need heatsinks on the memory and VRMs with a GPU change.

The rest of your build is fine though, especially if you get the Raystorm CPU block.

And yes, you will need a kill coil to keep nasty things from growing.

Thanks Bro,

Seen EK's new universals? Look great.

Water cooling is NOT hard. The only thing that adds confusion is fitting/tubing sizes and occasionally, parallel vs series (but no need to address that now). Everything else about water cooling is easy to grasp. We're not programming VCRs here.

If I could remember where I had my parts priced out at.....

My loop with 2x 580 full cover blocks was coming out to about $600, and that was with a 360mm radiator and a 240. I just don't remember what all the parts were, and where I was shopping. I think it was sidewinder.

Just one more thing, I would stay away from dyes, they tend to cause problems by clogging your blocks after a couple of months so I would suggest you just use coloured tubing. Here is a link to show you what I mean with the clogging.
