i want to reflash my bios i got version 2001 installed and i want to reinstall it how an i do this? is it just the same as when updating your bios? go in and pick your bios update file and tell the bios flash program to update to this version? and by updating to this version i mean flash to the same version already installed

Why not just try it? I haven't tried it myself, but the worst that could happen is that the flash utility tells you that you already have that bios and refuse to flash.

I always use EZ Flash from UEFI.

Well if you screwed up a BIOS flash it may mean you're in deep *****.

Else I would say it's the same as updating your BIOS.

Also, here's a perfect guide to flash a BIOS safely : http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?...del=P5B+Deluxe

You will loose your overclocking profiles, and the bios will reset itself when you flash on these boards. At least when using EZ Flash.

After you have flashed, and enter bios again, you should load optimized defaults, save and restart. Then enter bios again and set your parameters.

My impression is that few people have problems with these boards, when compared to other brands. On top of this, ASUS boards sell many more boards VS other brands.

And I always forget, it's not bios, it's UEFI in these boards
