My processor doesn't say black edition either in cpu-z. I still have no issues increasing the multiplier in my BIOS. Are you sure you are saving the settings after you leave the BIOS? The multiplier settings should be under MB Intelligent Tweaker then CPU clock ratio.

If that still doesn't work you could always try AMD Overdrive and see if you can at least get it to OC from there. If that works you may want to try and update your BIOS.

Thanks for the reply. My BIOS is updated, and its not that the settings arent saved, I cant change them. In the BIOS, I cant set the CPU ratio over 16.

did turn on the manual clock adjustment settin or whatever it's called in the bios? I think it's motherboard intelligence tweak (MIB) , te first option in the bios

Well you might actually have a 955 non-black edition. What color box did it come in? If it was purple then it is just a regular 955 and doesn't have multiplers unlocked like the BE.

Well the store I bought it from said its black edition but apparently it isn't. I don't know what was the color of the box because they built the computer for me and I got only the motherboard package with all the "leftovers" from the others...
