Not to revive old posts but have some news...
I went back to my Saphira after some unpleasant hand pain after sessions of clawgripping a Spawn, the difference is that I now own a Puretrack Stealth.
First thing that amazed me of the Saphira and that no one seemed to care about is the low LOD, at 2cd it doesn't track on a black surface which i find amazing.
I hadn't noticed this before because It was the first Avago 3090 I tried, now that I know more mice with this sensor I must say TTesports did a good job.
Well the second thing is that, as many of you might know, the max perfect speed is surface-dependant, so I tried the Saphira again on the Stealth instead of the QCK.
To my surprise I could achieve higher maxspeed (like 2.12 m/s) on 400 and 800 cpi, but then I hit malfunction sometimes (getting 8 or even 10 m/s) so my results are not definitive.
The maxspeed still seems subpar, but maybe the tracking is being affected by the low LOD firmware they introduced.
