Can someone suggest me a budget cpu cooler for 1155 Socket? pls help

Hello,Im having very high tempreture on my stock i5 2500k cooler. when i play games it heat rises above 54c and on prime95 stress test the max tempretures are like 74c.

now im looking for a cooler, it must be budged friendly because i cant own expensive coolers im lookin something like 70$ max 80$ price:(
my room tempreture is 26c

Ive checked on google and forums the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus seems great for me but in the specifications it doesnt mention if its compatible with 1155 Socket or not.

What should I get ? Im confused I also searched the NOCTUA NH-U9B SE2,its motr expensive than the hyper plus 212 but seems awesome.the problem is the fans are closing one ram socket on the motherboard with NOCTUA NH-U9B SE2 . i also dont want to mode my case like cutting and breaking etc...

Can you give me advice?

Motherboard: Asus p8z68 Deluxe
CPU: intel i5 2500k
Case: Cooler master Haf 912 plus.

please help confused.gif

1156 bracket is the same as 1155 so yea, hyper 212+ or EVO will work.

The Hyper 212+ should work well for you, provided that it fits inside your case(I believe it does but I can't be certain). Many of the taller tower type coolers may have incompatibility issues inside of your case so that is something to keep in mind.

Provided that the 212+ does fit inside your case then it will be your best bet, a friend of mine just recently installed one on the 1155 socket no problem. Keep in mind that 1156 and 1155 share the same mounting holes so any cooler that is advertised as 1156 will also work for the newer 1155 socket as well. Most have been updated to say that they support 1155/1156 but obviously some have not.

My suggestion is the 212+ provided it fits in the case, you're going to get the best bang for the buck out of that cooler.

Thanks so I know the 1156 and the 1155 are the same and the cooler seems okay for me since im not looking to overclock too much.

I'm sure they have Neweggs in Kavkaz. biggrin.gif Regarding budget coolers, the Hyper 212+ is a great bet. Regarding the RAM, I'm pretty sure a D14 or any large air cooler will fit with those ripjaws X.

http://www.overclock.net/amd-memory/818569-noctua-nh-d14-g-skill-ripjaws.html

Same motherboard (The only difference between the Z68 and P67 boards are the chipset) and same RAM and it fits the D14. If you fit the D14, anything will fit. smile.gif

If you're really on a budget, you should stick with the stock cooler and avoid running stress tests haha.

But yeah, the Hyper 212+ is one of the better coolers out there for the money spent, assuming your tower can handle the height and width of the heatsink.
