loop Order Check and suggestions plz. - Page 2

It takes ~260W to heat water at 1GPM by 1°C, so unless you are running monster GPUs then you are not going to see much difference between loop orders. I would go for whatever is neatest with the least amount of tubing.

Yate Loons and R4s are good fans with high static pressure, they will be fine on your rads.

The MCP35x will be more than enough, you can probably run it well below 100% and still be fine.

Dust filters help a lot, from purpose made ones to home made using pantyhose (I'm serious). They will restrict your airflow slightly and require regular cleaning. I live in a very dusty place so I really vaue mine.

A positive pressure fan setup (more going in than out) also helps confine the dust to the intake fans, and keeps all the little holes in the case clear.

Ok, so can i use fan filters? cause we have 4 cats, and it gets bad lol. Or will it hurt my temps by more then like 2c?
Second, if my pump is directly connected to my mobo, it will run full speed right? i guess it should, i never checked to see, or have changed it.

also, here is a pick of push pull from paint. the black things are the rads, the red lines are the air flow, is this the best way?

Do not, ever, under any circumstances try to power your pump from a motherboard header. It will draw a lot of current, burn out the header and possibly damage your board.

Most pumps come with a Molex power connector (or some form of adaptor) and a 3-4pin mobo wire for RPM reporting / PWM functions only.

He has a 35x, the speed of which can be changed by PWM (like any PWM fan). The extra wire can be plugged into any mobo header which supports PWM and used to control the speed of the pump. Programs like SpeedFan etc can be used to do this.

For a CPU only loop you will likely be able to run it down to ~25% and still have enough flow.

That is called push / pull. One row of fans pushes air through the rad, the other row pulls it.

Push / Push would be both rows of fans and then the rad - it doesn't work too well as the flow is not straightened before entering the second fan, causing leading edge losses. Basically bad idea.
