If I post it early every single "naysayer" is going to ***** and complain that it's not 24/7 stable...And how it's not legitimate until it is.

You got @21 hours to go.

Bad news

At @ 8 hours 20mins primed, I encountered a Nvidia BSOD because the new drivers are so much horse **** they crash while loading Prime...

Can we get a goooooo Nvidia?

Starting again now...Will have results tomorrow night and have rolled back to 275.33

You got @21 hours to go.
If it can make it through 20 passes of LinX with the latest Intel linpacks I think most would be more than satisfied with your reported overclock. Running Prime for 24 hours before reporting your initial tested stable OC is kind of pointless, especially since you just ran into a BSOD 8 hours in on your first attempt which was supposedly related to the nVidia drivers.

So what are you trying to run it at, and at what voltage. A little information would be nice. mad.gif

O.o ~ Will run LinX when I get home...Don't appreciate the negative sentament at all.

The Nvidia driver crashed and actually had to reinstall windows completely to stop the BSOD's from the new WHQL...Certainly wasn't my idea of a good time.

Right now, I'm successfully doing 5.0ghz at 1.38vcore...

Thanks for that, and that LinX run would be a good idea. Though there hasn't been many OC'ing results of the 2700k posted anywhere, you seem to get the chips that can do 5ghz @ less than 1.4v. I hope this isn't a fluke, and that many more 5ghz chips @ 1.4v or less begin to pop up!! yessir.gif
