Any decent mech. keyboards on amazon?

Budget is $100. I would like brown switches. Was looking at the xarmor u9 but it seems to be fairly low quality. I like the fact that it comes with a key puller and different colored keys for w,a,s,d.

But I guess I could buy some for whatever keyboard?

Seems like most of the cheaper ones have blue switches. I tried them today at best buy on the razer ultimate and they were a little loud for me.

I would say just grab an excellent quality full keyboard at Elitekeyboards.com

You can pick up a full red-switch board for 99$, and for a mechanical that is about the best price you can get for the quality. Others are 109$ and all of them are worth the price. Looking for a great quality board for under 100 is hard to do. Most boards you will find (that aren't used) under that price range are going to have some major flaws in quality. Those Leopold boards have PBT keycaps, and have good stabilizers. The boards aren't overly sized either and are similar to a Filco across the board. They even come with a detachable cable, and three channels to help manage your cord (a nice small feature most boards don't come with). Good luck with your purchase!

Grab a Leopold on EliteKeyboards for $99 and then grab the WASD cluster of your choosing from WASDKeyboards for $6.

Good luck Lightsout, I think that you should really think about what switch you want now. You have all the choices there, and you have the choice of a tenkeyless board. You even have the choice of a white keyboard. So for the money you have a lot of choices, and for the money you are getting a good deal. I recommend either a white/black board that is either full/tenkeyless in the red switch. Buy some dampening pads http://elitekeyboards.com/products.p...s&pid=sl120_cs here. These are well worth the money you are using a mechanical keyboard, especially when using light switches like reds, or browns or even blues. These might not be as important for clear switches, or black switches which are heavier so you don't hit the bottom likely as hard (on average). But, for lighter switches I highly recommend the dampening pads.

Just make sure if you buy those dampening pads now or in the future to watch video's on how to take off keys like the spacebar (which have stabilizers that can break). It isn't hard to take off the keys though. You said you mentioned you didn't like the sound of blues, so it's something to think about. Good luck!

Thanks. I was going to use my Amazon card so I have to save the cash now. But I think I am going full board in black with browns. Blues were a bit loud.

Thanks for your help guys, not sure if I repped you but I will now.

Anyways I added a little more to the budget and grabbed a WASD keyboard. The custimazation one me over. Plus elitekeyboards was out of brown switches unless you wanted a blank board. Anyways very excited for the new board. I'll post some pics when it comes in.
