Thread Starter
When I play a game like Minecraft I get around 80 fps while other people are getting upwards 0f 300?!?! In CoD 4 I NEVER go past 91. What is going on here? I am a complete noob when it comes to this so please don't hate

Does it have low fps in all games other than Minecraft or CoD 4?
Make sure you have the latest drivers too

I did research on this awhile back because I had the same question and I know for a fact that the CoD engine itself sets a max framerate of 91, nothing abnormal there and there's a command to bypass it. Typing

/com_maxfps 120

in the console will set the max framerate limit to 120. Minecraft could have a cap as well, and the others that you're getting 300+ frames don't have a limit, but if you're on a 60hz monitor, 300 fps will look and feel exactly like 60fps.
