Always post in the official BF3 thread when possible. I think as a forum we like to keep the sections tidy.

I may be wrong... but it's not available for play for anyone yet. I've seen only the performance review from PCGH at the link above; if you're looking at High settings, your minimum should be above 60fps with two 560 Ti's. You may even get minimums above 50 fps at Ultra, assuming SLI scales as well as it did in the Beta. May even get to throw in some AA and stay smooth.

Since I know at least half the people who look at those benchmarks wont bother reading the preface, let me point out the very important qualifications therein:
Quote:
. We use "Operation Sword Breaker" and the benchmark consists of a 20 second confrontation with the troops of your enemies. You see many particle effects (fire, smoke), dynamic AI and numerous physical effects caused by explosions. This is for sure a stress test but we wanted to show a worst case scenerio.

Consider the benches in those graphs to be a good indication of MINIMUM sustained framerates at those settings.

Another way of saying it is that the game is highly playable on even medium to low medium GPUs, assuming you are playing at 1050p or 1080p. From my experience in beta, it ran buttery smooth on my sig rig, oftentimes posting triple digit high end framerates. This game is not as demanding as originally suggested.

this is good news considering I had to sell my 6970's and pick two of these up. I had one before and it was a great card. I plan on using the high settings with no AA. It'll still look great I'm sure. Thanks for the info gentlemen. biggrin.gif +repped

I am on my way to pick up 2 pre-ordered copies of BF3 .The Xbox version for my 13 year old son, and the PC version for me and my GTX570!!!!
