Samsung Galaxy S2 Users Help Me

Just picked up this awesome phone today and was messing with the voice speech stuff on it, though im having trouble. When using the google voice search and saying "example: Text To Steve, message, yo man whats up." it always comes up like this.

To: (Blank)
Message: To Steve message yo man whats up.

It doesnt want to put the To or reciever of this message to the name i say it just leaves it blank. Ive tried saying everything even the hint the phone says on it. I can use the samsung voice talk app fine and send texts but the google one wont work. Anyone else have this issue and anyone have a fix for it?

I have only used the Samsung app. I tried out the Google app and I seem to be getting a similar response to the one posted above.
