Battlefield 3 Crossfire/Performance issues? Complete list of known fix's here! 12.10 link inside! - Page 11

I posted this over in the Official BF3 thread, but I figured it'd help someone in here too.

I was just having a problem with the game freezing while it was either connecting or initializing in the browser. Turns out there was a new Xfire (the chat software) update that enables In Game Chat. When I had my Xfire friends list on my second monitor it would freeze. When I took it off and either had it minimized or on my main monitor it worked fine. Just a heads up for anyone having problems today.

Tried the new 11.11 and CAP1 after getting freezes with 11.10 running CF6850's.
First impressions are looking real good.
No freezes upon entering the game anymore. But, since its way past bedtime smile.gif i haven't been able to play the game more than a few minutes with the new drivers. However, I turned on render.drawfps and render.perfoverlayvisible - both seems good as far as I can tell. Significant increase in fps and no major spikes in gpu on perfoverlay.

I'll test it out further tomorrow.

There - my first post in this forum... yippie! biggrin.gif

guess i will be the first positive reply for 11.11 with cap 1

i5 2500k at 4.6Ghz 1.35v

sapphire 6950 1GB x2 CF at OC at GPU 840Mhz MEMORY 1325Mhz
8GB Kingston value ram at 1333
9 9 9 24

Settings at CUSTOM ALL ULTRA only AA to OFF
it seems that the aa is still not that well working for me yet when running in large open area....

everything runs flawlessly other then abit of stutter lag which is rare.
have only played like 30mins

will post my update after a few more games...

Everything running perfect for me with the 11.11's. Still get some green flickering here and there, but it doesn't seem as bad.

Game is running pretty much flawlessly for me now, except when I turn on msaa. I still get some annoying stuttering with aa on even if I am averaging well over 60 fps. That being said it doesn't look bad with aa turned off and at least it is more or less completely stutter free without it. It was bad enough to make me quit playing after awhile prior to this release.
