Maybe your post will solve all the issues with BF3
I'd already edited my post Also you shouldn't be telling people to install CAP 3 as its known to cause stuttering issues.

10.11 Ver3 without CAP`s works fine with tri-fire. 99% scaling on all cars.

YA I let the system decide how much to use and it used all 8gb, then I decided to see what I could get away with and I set it at 2gb and so far so good. No crashes. I will try removing caps 3 now to see if any better performance is had. I can not run any AA or it drops FPS into the low 20-30fps range. 4xMSAA kills it and is totally unplayable at 5760@1080. I wish I could try single screen mode easy like in better but no matter what it wont let me do single screen, it just forces eyefinity.

I have 24gigs in my system and let the system managed page size and it's taking 24gb of my SSD in RAID (I have enough space for it). If I changed the page fsize, some apps will run fine and some are not, often than not will get the "low memory warning" or "driver stop working and recovery", Crysis will certaintly crash if page file disabled regardless the amount of physical RAM in your system.

Take this a shot:

Atiman Uninstaller v.6.0.0.msi. Download LINK (Run it with administrator privilege. Some antivirus software will give a false positive. Let it restarts to complete the uninstallation).

Then follow by this:

How to remove phantom - hidden cards from system.

1 Right-click My Computer and select Properties.
2 Click on the Advanced tab.
3 Click on Environment Variables.
4 Below the bottom Environment Variables window panel (System Variables), click on New
5 For Variable Name, enter devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices
6 For Variable Value, enter 1
7 Click OK to close Environment Variables and OK again to close System Properties

Open Device Manager, click on View and then select Show hidden devices from the menu.
You can identify the hidden devices by their grayed-out icons.

Go to the Display adapters and show your old cards.
Right-click the selected card and choose "Uninstall" driver on every one.

Restart and ok.

I did that and I do not have any old cards so nothing shows up.

So after reading all these posts, what can we say is the "golden combination" of drivers and caps? I have been using driver sweeper to remove, but that appears to be a bad thing. I tried 11.9, 11.10 V3, and a combination of CAPS from 1 to 3. I don't run any extra applications such as afterburner or the like. My 6990 refuses to run this game in crossfire. It works fine in other games. I will try that ati remover tool. So frustrating that crossfire refuses to run..
