The evo is slightly better (only by like 5C, but u can lap it)... Also, if u were to though AP-15s (making an assumption on witch model u have) on either a plus or an evo and it will probably be on par with or just below the nhd-14 and the silver arrow

Yes they are AP 15's.... I have like 6 waiting to be used... plus 8 on order for whenever Nidec gets things moving for the OCN group buy.

My Hyper 212+ is keeping my 2500k at 4.4GHz so far, max temp I've seen is 64C, and I'm on auto voltage.

So I know I asked this, but that + vs the Evo that is now out... from what I could tell some people don't care for the new Evo, but it should be better you would think.

By the way if I am not going over 4.5, but probably a little less, then will the NHD-14 and others really make any kind of large difference after I put on an AP-15?

Plus for how cool the Sandy Bridge processors run, I wonder how much difference an overly large heat sink will really make vs something like the Hyper 212+ or Evo?

I perfer the plus my self... It's easier to get steady results on... The evo works better in the long run, but u may have to seat t 2-3 times for best temps... And the nhd-14 and 212+ w/ ap-15s difference would be minimal at 5GHz

Thanks.... what sucks is there is tax for me to pay and I am from Ohio... I think it is because it is coming from California, but then the other BS came up about being shipped via will-call. What the heck, right?

Got the Hyper 212 Evo. If I pick something else up in the future it will be when I am prepared to spend up to $125. And at that point it will be relative best performer like a RASA kit, Noctua D14, etc.
