You've stated that you're not trying to defraud Apple into supplying you with a new model. If so, then donate what you've got to someone that will appreciate and take care of it.

Jlells01, take a look at their financial statements for the past quarters and tell me their EAT and net income. I think they could handle several individuals laptops being replaced. I don't mean to speak in behalf of all of OCN, but this is SOLELY my opinion, most people on OCN do not use Mac, and probably despise Mac. I believe OCN strives to build computers and push them to their limits and beyond. The only individuals liking Mac's on OCN would be ones that have the desktops (I'm guessing) that are for video editing and such.

Let me understand the logic here:

A. Apple is a successful company, which means you should be able to defraud them, since they can afford to give you a new laptop.
B. You're entirely incompetent using their product, and would rather blame the computer than educate yourself.

It's obvious to everyone what you're doing, and why you're doing it. Anyone with a scintilla of common sense realizes that this is wrong, and nothing more than foolishness perpetrated by an ungrateful college kid.

I just wish someone had the MacBook that would take care of it, and be proud of what they've got...

If you viewed the first page, their was a moderator on this thread. You may be an individual who claims every last thing on their tax returns and such, but I highly doubt that. I was not looking for a debate here as I stated in my first post.
